Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for OrbiLab services. Specific terms may also be defined in a written agreement for a project.

Effective date: February 13, 2026

1) Scope

This policy applies to digital services provided by OrbiLab, including career-site builds and recruiting operations support. If a written agreement states different terms, the written agreement controls for that engagement.

2) Project-based services (career-site builds)

A. Before work begins

If you cancel before work starts (before kickoff or any deliverable preparation), a refund may be available for amounts paid, minus non-recoverable administrative costs (if any) that were explicitly incurred (e.g., paid tooling or assets requested by you).

B. After work begins

Once work has started, refunds are evaluated based on work completed and any committed resources. For example, discovery, drafts, or implementation steps may already be underway.

C. Deliverables and acceptance

Projects typically include checkpoints (structure, copy outline, design implementation, page completion). If you request changes, we document the request and the scope impact. A refund is not a substitute for the change process.

3) Monthly operational support

Monthly operational support (e.g., coordination, scheduling rhythm, status snapshots) is typically billed per month. You can request cancellation for the next billing period by notifying us in advance (recommended: at least 7 calendar days before the next cycle).

If a month is already in progress, the remaining portion may not be refundable due to allocation of time and resources, unless required by mandatory law or explicitly agreed in writing.

4) Exceptions

  • Work completed and delivered is generally not refundable.
  • Third-party costs requested by you (if any) that are non-refundable from the provider may not be refundable by OrbiLab.
  • Delays caused by missing inputs or approvals may affect timelines but do not automatically create a refund entitlement.

5) How to request review

To request a cancellation or refund review, contact us with:

  • Your organization name (if applicable) and contact email
  • Project reference (if any)
  • Reason for request and relevant dates

6) Disputes

If you disagree with an outcome, you can request a written explanation of the calculation (work completed, committed resources, and non-recoverable costs). If needed, disputes are handled under the governing law stated in our Terms.
